Brooky: That's so clean! Get the wheel's coated and it'll be mint.Havana: The light is trick indeed. Im guessing the chrome bottle's a coolant overflow bottle? You not worried about it breaking if you should come off?

For a 50cc, that bike looks like it's doing 100mph stood still.

Didn't know they did a 250 in the new range. Still looks like a lovely bike for such a small machine.

Alright mate, I think the chrome bottle was on the honda I was confused at first too lol. Yup its a TZR250R 3XV nice little bike I see you race TZ's theyre good for 75bhp ish right? Was wondering if you ever raced in the 250 New Era Championship? The reason I ask is because my uncle won it in 2003 (I beleive it was the new era championship anyways) and I wondered if you knew him? His name is Ian BrookmanCheersJake

My old '95' TZ was making 82bhp which is nice and healthy, but I have no idea what power my earlier ones are making I have currently only ever raced with Bemsee, but intend to do a few with CRMC this year and maybe the odd New Era meeting as well in the FRC class. Was it your uncle that gave you the sense to buy a stroker Top man if it was. If you ever get stuck with any parts or advice about your bike, let me know as I have a mate who is a real fanatic about them..

Couple of pics of my EXUP from yesterday, now complete with blue spot rear caliper conversion. [/quote]

Always loved the EXUPS and that is mint Fantastic bikes at doing everything and still a bike that would find our limitations before that of the bike My old 1991 RU was one of the few bike that I should have kept..Rich have you seen this lovely looking OWO1 that is ebay at the momment, it would look lovely next to your bike. If only I had thinned some of my bikes, I would be bidding on it.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YAMAHA-FZR750R-OWO1_W0QQitemZ4622200860QQcategoryZ9809QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemP.s. where did you take the photos?

Cheers Eddie, I take that as a real compliment after seeing the standard you restore your bikes to. I love it, gotta be one of the best value performance bikes there is and it goes on the classic insurance with the LCs - can't beat it! That OW01 on ebay is a stunner but sadly I can't afford it. Don't fancy it yourself then? PS, pics were taken by the Beachy Head/Birling Gap road, just down from the pub at the top. It was just before sunset and was bloody freezing up there!

I have always loved 80's and 90's Yams I still love the first of the FZ750's as well, I could get nearly 200miles out of one tankfull I used to reguarly ride from the road between Eastbourne through to Newhavenas part of a Sunday morning run, it is bloody scary on an RGV250 You will have to pop up sometime when it gets warmer to see the bikes. I would love that OW, for me they have so much character and rawness about them. Finances would not permit it though Although I am not all that struck on the RC which as Reg has pointed out, my opinion would change if took it for a good blast. It would still be nice to own the following:- RC30, OWO1, GSXR750R, and of course a ZXR750RR all real cult bikes that would sit nicely next to the LC350 and X7, neither of which I own

Get a room. Only joking.

Here is the little sod, not the fastest thing on two wheels and not a nipper anymore (1994) but has "bags of character" such as a sweet engine note, keihin flatsides and a few other bits such as slightly squiff electrics (the early ones were built for poncing around the piazza not the cotswolds) and a soon to be fixed again tank dent/respray...I'm thinkg gold or -steady- pink! it could be cool in an ironic fashion naturally.A.

My new baby, since saturday...

My Ducati 600SS race bike's finished and looking pretty good:

That looks great Grib. The rs fairing works well on it.

It looks a lot better than the boxy Ducati fairing It actually goes through the air now instead of just hitting it!
