The stable of 2 stroke race bikes to restore is slowly growing, with this latest and rare addition.A Yamaha AS3. The bike dates back to the Pre TZ days should be a laugh to ride when finished, although the seat position nearly directly above rear wheel spindle should make it lively at the front end. Also the tyre profile is triangular so it will probably be unstable and weave when upright and then just fall into the corners along with me!! Sorry about the crap photo quality, the computer is refusing to resize and display photos

ah, that was nothing compared to this years photos, they are so bad i only looked once. very nearly put me off bikes for good...

It's my first bike since riding 125's on L's in the late 80's.I took my CBT and theory just before xmas and with 2 days training passed my DAS test this week :smoke: So this is the tool I'm going to use for the daily work run, I've already notched up 250m since passing my test Wednesday morning probably chop it out in the summer for something bigger but this'll do for the time being while I find my feet
