lovely and understated mateDont suppose you have any plans to fit an aftermarket shock do you? if so can i have first dibs on the old shock?

Have been offered an aftermarket shock already for it, but i am afraid the piggy bank is empty for the time being after getting the bike, the akrapovic pipe and seat unit, so cant help you there chunks, sorry Linkpipe , is that a Blade, with a KTM front, VFR single sider and MV rear plastics.....................( and loads of other work loveingly put into it obviously ).......................very nice and they told me off for having shiny wheels

My first ever bike, aprilia rs125 harada racing rep, just got it home tonight so i'll probably spend most of tomorrow cleaning it up go easy on her :P

well i wont profess 2 bein a mechanic but all i heard was rear suspension wasn't v good but so far im vclose to gettin mi knee down so it cant b that bad. other than that if your lookin for reliability ur not gonna get it with any bike that age!!!if u have any specifics could u let me know so i can keep an eye out for them?

Not heard of either bike having reliability issues, although my mate's H2 is pretty much the most uncomfortable bike I've ever ridden! Seat like a plank and suspension to match, and I weigh 18 stone! Went well though, still feels really eager to go, once you get out of town and give it some stick. This site has some good ZXR info

stand by for a picture of the dream machine :burnout:

Nope, sorry, can't remember what they were ...

Here is my xr after getting a good thrashing to top of passo pordio in the Dolomites Italy back in July,it's a bit like cart track, but built over a mountain, fecking awesome as are all the passes in the dollies, built for supermoto's

The guys in the shop built the Kawasaki ZX6R that arrived yesterday. She's a black one too. GorgegousA few extras I would suggest.MRA Double bubble screen extra wind protectionGPR Gold Steering DamperAkrapovic Exhaust (doesn't stick out too much) or the Scorpion Exhaust (Sticks out a bit)Power Commander and a Set of sticky rubber.Jonny

Jonny.MRA Double bubble screen extra wind protection - I prefer standard screens. Double bubbles invite higher speeds, which with the crap mirrors on it invite lengthy bans.GPR Gold Steering Damper - Fat bastard innit. Dont need one.Akrapovic Exhaust (doesn't stick out too much) Gorgeous as always but way above my budget.or the Scorpion Exhaust (Sticks out a bit)At £169 (stainless) or £223 (Ti) Im tempted, but TBH the only reason for bothering is cos they sound good, but with the exhaust way back there you can hardly hear it over the induction roar anyhow so theres not much point.Power Commander - Ness? and a Set of sticky rubber. - Maybe in the spring, but with cold damp roads aplenty approaching, I would rather have a set of sports touring rubber tbh.:burnout:

We built are ZX6R in black up today with a load of goodies.First off all how sexy is it in Black? Amazing pure amazing.Put a MRA Screen basically it is a double bubble which isn't like a normal double bubble. Made specially for Kawasakis.Got a set of Lazer EXTREME exhausts (£419) these are MV style with 3 end cans out the rear.GPR Damper sets the bike of amazing, Being all black with gold forks and with brackets on the exhaust to hold indicators being gold it looks really trick. Isn't really a big bugger, just looks it in pics. Really not as big as it looks.Didn't put a power commander in, but it is required if you go with the Akrapovic system. We are going to put an ermax single seat cowl on and removing the passenger footrests. Also adding a set of gold rearsets.J

I was gonna get a blue 05 bike for a fair bit less than I ended up paying for the Black but after seeing it in the window I had to get it.

Hows it different?

Shape. Its a double bubble but doesnt offer as much room to tuck in behind it as a normal one.

Have I really just read a post where someone is excited about fitting a steering damper because it looks good????????????
