My First (planned) wheelie

Messing about this afternoon (in a large and empty car park I hasten to add) and I managed to pull my first proper wheelie

Pulled one a couple of weeks back, but that was by accident - I had my mates 16 year old son on the back, out on the open road, gave the right hand a bit too much and the front end came up when I didn't expect it - scared the shit out of me to be honest.

Anyway - mate (Motorbike Instructor) suggested I have a go whilst he took a video to mark this historic event ( ).

Anyway - still from vid is as follows:

I know I'm not up very far, and I didn't keep it up for long (Oh-er missus), but it is a start.

Hope you like the "staring" form the lights as well - No camera trickery or photo-editing software - just how the picture came out.

Fair play mate

Top bollox mate!!Makes u all tingly when u get it right!! ooo er missus

Put the lid and gloves on next time though, eh? Difficult scooping yer brains off the tarmac if yer fingers are all mangled

good on yer m8, its a start, as they say, from small mingers, large mingers doth grow!check my 2nd gear 110mph minger below!

wahhee another wheelie king. I would suggest the lid though if for no other reason than your ugly mug ruins a perfect pic

I know I should have had the lid on - I am wondering if I can use some photo editing s/w to put one on Wife saw the picture and went mental (untill I pointed out the figure on my life policy ).Given that I wasn't going very fast, and my eyes were still watering - I intend to put the lid on next time

Wonderful Dont no why but im just not into wheelies they look great, getting your knee down there's something worth doing. cus your riding the bike like it should be.I USE THE MOTO X FOR WHEELIES. FAIR PLAY FOR IT ANYWAY:burnout:

Originally started of in the car park going round and round - trying to get my knee down - too much crap (stones and stuff) though so I just did not feel comfortable so ended up trying for the wheelieI'll take a brush next time, clean a nice big patch and get that knee down
