what????i heard they did the 08 litre class test today...didint have time to get to the garage on my way to work otherwise i would have brought it and read it already

They said a litre was too much for most blokes and they should all go for 600sHTH

Forget road tests - just buy whatever bike you like the look of most. The fact it may be 2 seconds slower round a track than it's rivals will not affect your enjoyment.

sorry y2b, thought you ment a website,oops

no worrys mate

The Blade on track, so they say.The road test wasn't laid out with 1st-4th positions like the track test was.I didn't have time to read it, just look at the pictures. As an aside, they've got the worst "exclusive" picture of the new KTM superbike ever. A tiny picture so blown up across 2 pages that each pixel is about 3mm square.

Fuck knows how EMAP let them get away with printing such rubbish quality pics.

read it...the blade rules everywhere!!! best midrange, best on track, best on the road and exciting too  looks like honda have berried the boring tag that the lame 04/05 models bought blades rule againend off!!!!!!!!!!

i will be demo riding the lot and buying the one that suits "me" best.......just nice to hear the journo's singing a differant tune for a change "...the 08 blade rules everywhere!!! best midrange, best on track, best on the roadand exciting too looks like honda have berried the boring tag that the lame 04/05 models bought blades rule againend off!!!!!!!!!!" sounds alot nicer than what they sang when the 04/05 blade came out "bland bland boring bland" demo rides ahoy

blade nudged it, zx 2nd, R1 third, gixx fourth over 12hp down on top end on the ZX, but has 12 ft/lbs in the midrange more than the ZX.app the blade is very fast but you think you're going slow, and the ZXis just fucking mental.. two testers went quicker on the ZX, three on the blade....

like i said.......cant wait for my demo rides   i'll be buying the one i like the most

Hunter, I want a bike that's the other way round - feels like you're going fast, when actually you're not. May not be great for tracks etc. but ideal for the road...

Glad they're making a big thing about the midrange - hopefully this will start to be the end of litre bikes all being focused on high revs, and start making some big low down torque again like the first gixer thou. *wipes away nostalgic tears*Big grunt from no revs should be what these bikes should all have in spades.
