That looks like a very nice example I have been searching for a decent one for some time now, all the ones that I have come across have been disappointing. Do you have any further details...

It does make you wonder where all the mint ones are. They seem to either have tons of mileage and cracked plastics or as you have described your bike. The weird thing is that only a couple of years ago they were fetching no money and now they have suddenly gone up in price. Have you ridden yours yet and if so, what was it like?

not ridden it yet , call me brave .... or stupidaye , i was looking a year ago and there was 4 that i knew of that were low mileage in good nick going for between 600 and a grand! .. now good ones are silly cash like 2k+ ... the guy had a RG500 , totally mintand original and sod all miles .... that was nice but his racebike was nicer ....found it , some one here probally knows him www.LeightonWalker.co.uk/

I didn't know that Leighton had an RG500 I have always enjoyed watching Leighton race, he has long been a two stroke fanatic and rode the Ex Stu Jones VJ23. Another very nice bike I am glad to see that he has made the pukka GP250 switch and it looks as though from your photos that he now has a TSR

ya know him then or heard of himaye sitting in his garage next to the race bike ... like i said standard , even the windbraks , sorry indicatorsvery nice bike .... very very very veeerrrrrrrrrrrr -<smack>- sorry fell of my chairoh if i have the cash well and an acu licence , no good enough to race , not even close leighton's has a diff swingarm ... supose that thats just been braced up ...

I only know Leighton through telephone conversation and email, somehow things have never coincided to actually meet him. I shall have to sort that one out this year I have just looked at his web site, his bike may not be a TSR after all. He had mentioned buying a TSR on here and was keeping it close to his chest, but the bike details on his site does not mention TSR.The spec must be very close though when reading the component list for his bike. Just a bog stock RS250 is always going to be better than me and I would find my own limits and that of the gravel trap way before the limits of the bike Here is my old RS250 (again)I sold it about 2yrs ago to some idiot who slagged me off for selling him a duff bike It was in first class order and was 100% race ready. It would even start with one flick of the back wheel while on the paddock stand. This idiot bought it and then decided that he did not trust me and replaced the new plugs that I had just paid £50.00p for, and the the new top end that I fitted for him. He then could not start the bike and went around moaning to people about me. The reason that it would not start was because the prat had not put the plug caps back on the bike! After all this he then phoned me up as though nothing was wrong, to buy a set of main jets from me. You can guess the answer!

hes a nice bloke , even if i had just met him after he got lost on his pushbike and spent and hour trying to find home and ended up doing nearly 25miles! lol ditto , altho id like to atleast try Oh , dont u just hate people like that , my ex-house m8 was/is like that , he moved out (well i chucked him cos he hadnt paied me rent for 2months) and he then spent 6weeks slagging me off to all he came across , then he wondered why when he came back to get the last of his stuff i told him to fuck off and slammed the door in his face! Then proceded to sell what was left on ebay, made some of my money back not alot mindhow much is that kinda bike going for , gotta be 4keasily ? i dunno .. i know a decent MC28 is 2 - 2.5 so ...

Nice little bikes (for a H*nda ). One of my old g/f's brother had one. I don't envy you when it comes to sparkplug changes though....

If I remember what Nick told me correctly, the top cylinder requires alot of stuff removing to get to it.

I am a member of Macdizzies forum, some very good stuff on there and the trial period is free so it's worth a bash.

Another one with BT45's

Best tyres for them (other than BT33's) Think the BT's are the only ones that ever made my 400 assured and stable in wet weather.

Always usedto run AM20 race fronts and road rears on my 350LC. I thought they were great!

Two strokes have always been sufficient for me:My TDR:My KR-1S, with 350ypvs engine (it's a work in progress):I've also got a Suzuki RMX250, a Yam TY200 Majesty and my fathers Ariel Arrow roadracer in the shed.Paul

This is going into this...As soon as I get engine back

few from the isle of man was chatting with the owner of this 700cc 4cyl beast,he has owned her for 3 years nowvery nicevery clean looking RD400 350 powervalve

My TDR250

well spent the weekend in the garage and managed to make one good (ish) bike out of 2 the resultjust needs a battery and thats about it .... oh and making road legal but i dont often worry about small things like thatoh and a top fairing as the one on their atm is either of a 125 or a REALY bad copy. as its to small!ive got all the bottom fairings but cant fit them untill i get my hands on a decent top fairing ....

Trinity just resell other makes, they don't manufacture. Seeing as they looking nothing like either of the Cheetah's I guess, they must be T-Rex then. You taking it to the BMF for the LC Club stand?

The cylinders are Yamaha ones with a Trinity tune on them Didn't make the BMF but I'll be at Ashbourne for the Aircooled rally:burnout:

Excellent, I'll see you there Nick!

Just re-discovered this site for Yamaha TZ's and TZR's. The download section is worth a look if you are into either of these modelshttp://pure-2-stroke-spirit.info/?seite=start.

I have just come

Banoffee, are you ready to get it up again!!! I have just found some old photos of my first restoration project and GP250 race bike. What disgusts me is that I actually entered a race on it the the pre restored state The race was at Brands and I came off on the first lap at Graham hill bend All because I was to keen to get the bike out on circuit before pulling it down. The clipon and front brake somehow got in contact withy the fairing and I lost the front end as it locked up!!! After seeing these photos again, I badly need another Honda!!The before..The after..

Some very peachy strokers there lads :smoke: Counting down to Ashbourne Not so into the fairing thing, still nothing a few spanners, set of rethal bars wouldent sort out You dont see this to often these days,on our way to a local bike meet in Paignton S.Devon.3 out of 4 aint bad

Strangely enough, I saw a white KH yesterday. It sounded lovely with just its standard pipes fitted Don't worry about the fairing issue, I love them all

this weekend coming is the annual kawasaki triples rally at ilkestonwww.h2simon.com

That bike is so so so pretty!

Here is my RS250 track bike, it's in need of a respray but I'm going to wait until after I do Brands in a couple of weeks before attempting it.

This would make a very nice little project bike.. It is a shame that my pockets were not deeper! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUZUKI-RG500_W0QQitemZ270002365079QQihZ017QQcategoryZ9808QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
