"Starting in Folkestone Harbour take the A259 south towards New Romney. Take care through Sandgate as there are a couple of speed cameras and hidden side roads. Attack the flowing S-bends in Dymchurch and then wind off as you pass New Beach holiday park.
"Watch the speed limit out of St Mary's Bay as the road looks fast but the limit is actually only 40mph. Once you're in New Romney, head to the coast at Littlestone. As you go over the bridge wind it on a bit for the locals sat outside the Captain Howey then at the sea front turn left and stop for a cream tea at Romney Bay House.
"After that take the Greatstone road towards Dungeness, keeping an eye out for twitchers crossing the road near the power station. This is a fast but very bumpy piece of road that's usually traffic and police free. Ride through Lydd and out onto the Camber Road. Some of the corners out there are really good fun but be aware of the perimeter fence with six-foot concrete posts every few metres.
"Stop for an ice cream on Camber seafront, then follow the road into Rye. Look for the B2082 towards Tenterden - some really nice bends to have a go at. From Tenterden take the B2067 all the way back to Lympne but be aware of how little run-off there is on the flat marshy areas. The roads are fast and flowing, but usually there's a huge ditch or drop if you end up overshooting a bend. The rises and
dips sometimes cause unexpected wheelies - good fun but not easy.
"Back in Folkestone you can crack a few laps of the Saga circuit ring road, then stop at the bike
shop on your left. Either head back down the sea front via McDonald's or roll straight through, back onto the A259 where you started and crack another lap or TWO."
