Kriega R20 - £119

I’ve been testing both Kriega’s R20 and R30 this year, and while the bigger capacity bag certainly comes in handy for carrying large loads, it’s the diminutive R20 which, in my opinion, takes the Kriega crown.

Featuring the brand’s proven Quadloc-lite system, which transfers the weight on to the chest rather than the back or shoulders, the R20 is constructed of 420D rip-stop nylon, with 1000D Cordura on the base and harness. The harness has much better adjustability than the R30, which is especially good for smaller riders.

Taped YKK water resistant zips feature on the main pocket and the external pouch, although unlike its bigger brother, the R20 is not fully waterproof. Nor does it come with a separate rain cover, like Dainese’s D-Mach.

It’s compatible with a number of other Kriega module packs, and looks pretty cool.
