Yamaha files patent for mad three-wheel V-Max

Yamaha looks like it has filed patents for an entirely mental, V-Max version of its soon-to-be-launched Niken three-wheeler.

Yamaha president Yoshihiro Hidaka said earlier this year that the firm would concentrate on more leaning bike technology and new drawings bear this out with a V-Max-inspired design.

The bike would effectively match the existing Niken front-end, albeit a bit beefed, with the motor, seat and rear end of the 17000cc 200bhp monster, which weighs the same as a small fishing vessel but with three wheels, it doesn’t matter.
