Mash makes a UK comeback

Mash Motorcycles returns to the UK as new distributer, Motomondo begins as official distributor

Mash X-Ride 650

FRENCH retro motorcycle brand Mash is making a welcome return to the UK bike market as Motomondo begins work as the official UK distributor.

The news will be especially welcome to current Mash Motorcycles owners after the previous distributor Three Cross Motorcycles fell into administration in May this year.

The news now means that Motomondo is Germany, Belgium, Holland, and Luxembourg, as well as the UK. With UK operations being run from a London base under the banner of Motomondo UK.

One of the most important new models for Mash is the stunning looking X-Ride 650cc. It’s a modern retro scrambler, featuring the obligatory high-level end cans and anodised gold wheel rims. Mash is no doubt very keen to tap into the sizeable pool of A2 licence retro bike fans we have in the UK.

Mash Motorcycles | a brief history

Established in 2012, Mash Motorcycles began in France with a sole model, the 125 Seventy. It was a simple classically styled roadster, that helped the firm to establish itself with 600 units sold in its first year.

In the years that followed, new bikes were added, and the range swelled to cover everything from scooters, scramblers, café racers and even sidecars!

To date, Mash has sold more than 40,000 bikes across Europe, a number that it hopes will be increased further with the introduction of bikes like the X-Ride. Aside from this machine, the firm is looking to launch a range of other machines that utilise the same powerplant. It’s hoped this new 650cc range could add up to 10,000 extra sales across Europe.
