Ducati has given its Panigale V2 sportsbike a gentle spruce up for 2020 with the addition of a fresh ‘White Rosso’ livery to the line-up.
The Panigale V2 made its bow last year to bring the mid-range sportsbike more into line with the larger Ducati Panigale V4 by adopting the flagship model’s striking design traits.
For 2020 Ducati has announced a new White Rosso (Red) design to be made available alongside the recognisable traditional red hues of the Ducati range. Blending Ducati Red with Star White Silk, the Panigale V2 cuts a dashing figure with its ivory colour scheme, interspersed with red detailing on the rims and the air-intakes.
Finishing off the fresh look is a re-positioning on the lower half-fairings of the large Panigale V2 logo, inspired by the graphics of Ducati Corse motorcycles.
Under the skin the Panigale V2 remains unchanged for 2020 with the same twin-cylinder 955cc Superquadro engine pumping out 155hp at 10,750rpm.
Visordown tested the Panigale V2 back in November 2019 and we remarked then how much of a step forward it was over its 959 predecessor why echoing the V4’s sharp handling and responsiveness.
Don’t just take our word for it though. Ducati called upon the services of its Pramac Racing MotoGP rider Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia to give his own testimonial after riding it aeound the Misano Marco Simoncelli World Circuit.

"The new livery, so white, is very beautiful and different from the usual. Despite being a street bike, it surprised me how much speed it can have when cornering. It is a fun, very stable and very sincere bike that allows you to go fast, safely, without becoming tired, while having a very strong and decisive character and personality."
The "family feeling" with the other Panigale models is also underlined by the single-sided swingarm, while the compact-sized single lateral exit exhaust, with under-engine silencer, emphasizes the clean lines of the Panigale V2.
The Panigale V2 in White Rosso livery will be available in Ducati dealers from July 2020
