Bullit announce the Bluroc 250 V-twin

The Bullit Bluroc 250 is the firms first V-twin and also their biggest machine to date

BELGIAN firm Bullit has taken the plunge into the competitive A2 licence segment with the Bluroc 250 V-twin.

Not only is the Bluroc the largest capacity machine from Bullit, it also makes a statement in a class where the majority of 250 to 400cc machines feature single-cylinder engines.

A new configuration it may be, but don’t expect high-tech, as the Lifan built, air-cooled engine wheezes out a feeble 16.7bhp – which is just over the 15bhp CBT limit. It does make you wonder why they choose an engine with such a low output when the A2 limit is 47bhp. The question is, do you buy the 250 and get more weight, running costs and capacity, for just 5bhp more than the firms own 125cc machines?!

Engine aside, the Bullit is a cool enough looking thing, with telescopic forks, complete with gaiters, megaphone exhaust and street scrambler styling all very in keeping with current trends. If there is another thing the Bullit provides its value, with the Bluroc 250 coming in at £3,599 making it one of the cheapest A2 machines on the market.

The new 250cc bike slots into a packed motorcycle line up, that sees the firm offer bikes from 50cc monkey bikes up through 125cc classic-style machines, flat-trackers, Brat Trackers and everything in between. At the head of this range now sits the new Bullit Bluroc 250 a bike we will reserve judgement on until we get to ride it.
