TRIUMPH Motorcycles have stepped in to assist an NHS worker from Brighton who was left without any transport after his cherished bike was stolen earlier this month.
The Triumph social media team spotted Mr Evans’ Tweet, asking for locals to keep an eye out for his British Racing Green Triumph Spring 955i that was fitted with distinctive panniers.
Triumph's tweet read:
On seeing the post, Triumph set about finding a way to assist Mr Evans, who works nightshifts in Hayward Heath as an NHS Healthcare Scientist, of getting back to work.
To help him to get back to work helping the public, Triumph has agreed to supply him with a Triumph Tiger 800, complete with panniers and insurance for him to ride to and from work and for pleasure.
Thankfully, Ian’s bike was later found but the damage is extensive and will take some time to repair. As a result, Laguna bikes of Ashford have taken the damaged bike away for repair, and Ian can keep the Tiger 800 for as long as the repairs take.
