VALENTINO ROSSI has given an insight into some of his best moments from the Misano Grand Prix in this eye-opening video. He also shows us he’s probably better at riding a motorcycle in the real world, rather than the virtual one.

The video, posted to the Yamaha MotoGP Instagram page, shows the seven-time world champ trying his hand at the latest version of the MotoGP video game. After some initial indignation at the length of his facial hair, he complains that they have created his character with a ‘long beard’ when at a race weekend he always it cut short, he sets to work setting a lap-time on the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

Heading out to try his hand on the computer game he also gives us some insight into the early years, saying: “The first time I arrive on a track in a bike, it was at Misano, in 92 with Aprilia 125.” Clearly losing his concentration a bit, the factory Yamaha rider then manages to misjudge his braking point into the Rio corner and running wide!

He also points out that 2009 was a good race for him at the circuit on the Adriatic, not only because it was the year he wore the now famous Donkey crash helmet design, but because the race left him in a good position in the championship. The meeting marked his sixth race in the championship and helped the 40-year-old seal the title victory by 45 points from his bitter rival, and teammate, Jorge Lorenzo.
