WITH Coronavirus’s grip on Europe growing ever tighter, the world begins to try and find ways to keep amused while our jobs, education and social lives go into stasis.

While wrestling with Doreen from down the road over the last bog roll might sound like an exciting morning, in reality, it’ll only quench your thirst for a couple of minutes before you’re back on the hunt for entertainment.

To help satisfy us motorcyclists' needs, the official MotoGP website is offering all members – and it’s free to sign up – the chance to watch some of the greatest MotoGP races of the two and four-stroke era.

Races included in the offer include Doohan and hometown hero Criville batting it out at Jerez in 1996. The race ended with a Doohan win as Criville high-sided his Honda at the final turn while trying to regain the lead from his Australian teammate.

Another iconic race that is available for free is the Laguna Seca clash between Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner. The year was 2008 and Stoner and Ducati were at the peak of their powers in MotoGP. The talking point of this race was Rossi controversial pass of Stoner, overtaking the Aussie on the dirt at the famous corkscrew. Rossi would go on to take the race victory after Stoner ran wide at the final corner, ending up scampering across the gravel but able to retain second place.
