The 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650 has shown its revised face for the first time as the Japanese firm reveals a raft of updates for its mid-range contender
An A2 licence ready Supersport bearing all the hallmarks of the flagship Ninja ZX-10RR Superbike, as well as the Ninja 400 and ZX-6R, the 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650 boasts a sharper nose, LED headlight treatments, new Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres and revisions to the fairing to give the narrow chassis stance an even sportier finish.
From the riders’ seat, a brand-new multi-function 10.9cm colour TFT screen arrives to offer all key displays in a clearer format, as well as allow for Bluetooth Smartphone connectivity. Kawasaki says that by pairing it to the firm’s Rideology App, riders are able to access GPS, route information and schedule services.
Fresh new colour schemes include the KRT (Kawasaki Racing Team) edition which offers a lime green and ebony combination, alongside a stardust white and black option, as well metallic spark black.
A new pillion seat is also included to improve passenger ride comfort.

Featuring a new trellis-style frame, Kawasaki says it is targeting the 2020 Ninja 650 at riders keen to upgrade to a more powerful machine and appeal to large capacity machine riders seeking a more affordable and economical commuter bike.
The twin-cylinder water-cooled engine offers 67bhp and 49ftlb of torque.
Though prices haven’t been officially confirmed, they are expected to remain competitive to emphasise the 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650’s value for money ethos at around £6500.
