Time magazine have a list of top-10 Google Earth finds and reckon this is a UFO landing pad. I reckon they need to back off the double-espressos
Time magazine is usually the bastion of all things worldy and sensible, but in a recent feature of theirs titled Top 10 Google Earth Finds we just had to pick holes in their over-imaginitive offerings.
At number three is this offering above, found on a US-Army base near Thetford Forest in the UK, which Time have titled UFO Landing Pads, Maybe? and here's what Time have to say about it:
"Here's a true Google Earth mystery. These odd formations can be found on air bases in the U.S. and Britain — this one comes from a base outside of Norwich, England. The U.K. Ministry of Defense called it a motorcycle range, but other speculate it may be some sort of calibration tool for satellites. No one really knows — and the military isn't saying anything more."
You can see this 'UFO landing pad' by clicking the link. Imagine if you travelled all those millions of miles, just to land near Thetford Forest.
We'll have what Time are drinking..
