Rider thrown over barrier at hairpin bend

Lucky escape for Triumph Triple rider

Posted: 18 March 2010
by Visordown News

THIS RIDER makes a lucky escape having been lobbed over the armco barrier at a hairpin bend, after losing control of his bike.

Thankfully, he looks unhurt, but imagine if it had been a sheer drop the other side of the barrier.

At least his bike doesn't look too bad.

Classic Target fixation and then panic endused rear brake stomping.

Hope the fella and bike were both back together soon.

Pringle

silly bugga, that's what you get when you ride on the wrong side of the road!!

...on a serious note, looks like he took the full impact on his right side ribs... poor bloke, was just dabbing the back brake and it locked up

He wasn't even going that fast. He should have grabbed a pair and got his knee down.

He seemed to have plenty 'natural' padding so could have been worse.

Looked like he wasn't even setup for that bend, was way to close to the centre of the road before he even went into it.

'Ago' Replica Helmet doesn't come with Agostini's cornering ability?

As others have said - This looks a bit suspect to me? He's not fat: he's wearing shit loads of padding under that dodgy sailing jacket and his friend's filming him from a perfect vantage point....
