Parrish's predictions for Silverstone MotoGP

BBC commentator and pundits reveals who he thinks will win on Sunday

I'm at Silverstone for the British MotoGP and Steve Parrish spoke to us all about his predictions for the podium.

Parrish has gone for Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa to take the top three spots and spray the bubbly at the end of the race.

Not too sure on his call though as I think Dani will be riding on a high after winning at Mugello and surely the speedy Spaniard will take full advantage and wring the neck of the Honda at the (supposedly) high speed Silverstone Circuit. The final two podium spots will be made up of Stoner and Lorenzo.

Hopefully it won't be a procession...

What are you predictions for the top three positions on Sunday?

If the Honda's are able to use their top speed advantage (ala Mugello), I'd think Pedrosa and Divizioso (spell ck. please) have a huge edge... If powering out of the corners comes into play, watch for Jorge to pressure Pedrosa and Stoner into mistakes...

It seems that the Yam's have the best combo of speed and power (torque)...

I'd like to see Spies get a good result and get back on track to top five finishes... maybe even a podium...

Sunday, post race...

Hmmm... Let's see...

Jorge checks out and wins in a walk...

Spies gets his first podium...

Pedrosa finishes eight and again shows that he can't handle pressure and win...

Divi shows that he is actually the better balanced factory Honda rider...

Hayden gets his fourth fourth in five races...

Just an outstanding race! The only thing better for me would have been for the podium to be Lorenzo, Spies and Hayden....
