Help save the Manx Grand Prix

Petition needs your support.

The Isle of Man Government are proposing to change the Manx Grand Prix, for the worse.

So what's going on?

The IoM Government is trying to take over and turn the event into a commercialised classic festival - a la Goodwood Revival - ditching most of the modern races (which are attracting increased entries) to concentrate on classic races (which have halved in terms of entrants over the past five years). There is now vociferous opposition to both their proposals and the way they were announced in an "exclusive" briefing to Gary Pinchin at MCN rather than through discussion and agreement with stakeholders on the Island - ie the organising Manx Motorcycle Club and the TT & MGP Marshals Association to name but two...

The singer is Save the Manx campaigner Ali Foster and the song is spreading around the Island, becoming the unofficial anthem to this year's TT.

If you want to help stop the changes, get your weight behind this petition by signing it and passing it onto your friends.
