Foggy Rep 916SPS number 001 for sale

..with a ridiculous asking price

There's no denying this 916SPS Foggy Rep is gorgeous, but is it £42,000 gorgeous?

Ok, so this is number 001, with Foggy himself having number 002 but I'm still not sure what makes this worth £42,000.

I struggle when it comes to the prices of some old classics - just how do you go about valuing them? Ok, so this model has zero miles and for any serious collector that has to be a worthy feature, but does the #1 plate make all the difference?

When you can pick up number 157 with 14,000 miles on the clock (1,000 a year) for £11,000, is a zero-mile model worth four-times as much?

So, will a zero-mile #1 plated bike rocket in value over the years compared to a used example? I'm not sure.

One thing I am sure about is that I want it. But not at that price..

why bike a bike like that and not rag the shit out of it !!! The 916 was iconic for handling , style , sound, History and outright damn sexyness .... not because it was good at sitting still in a garage.... such a waste , id love to hammer that round Brands .. just like Foggy !

Bikings in your heart ... not your garage

With stuff like this the value is pretty much what someone is prepared to pay for it, the seller starts high and hopes to find that person sooner rather than later.
Saying that it is beautiful, if I won the lotto jackpot I'd buy it to drool over....

you pay £3000.plus for a yamaha lc 250/350 and thats just an old jap 2 stroke bike, so for the foggy rep 001 its a snip
