Save up to £217 on Nitron Shocks

HPS have revealed money-saving deals on Nitron's range of shock absorbers kit ahead of the proposed changes to the VAT.

The first is a half price offer on the Hydraulic Preload Adjuster (HPA) meaning it is possible to add the HPA to any new shock being bought for an additional cost of just £70.50 inc. VAT, instead of the current/2010 RRP of £141.00 inc. VAT.

The HPA enables riders to alter the sprint preload without the use of a C-Spanner. This normally awkward process is suitable for both road and track riders; the latter can find a more managable way to gain a road-biased spring for better handling and grip and use the HPA to increase ride-height to compensate for increased sag with passengers and/or luggage is added. For the track focussed they can utilise the HPA to fine-tune the bike's steering performance and ground clearance.

In addition to the above deal, with the impending VAT rate, when combined with the above offer total savings available now compared with 2011 prices can be as much as £216.17.

Nitron have four types of shocks available for a variety of riders, consisting of:

  • Sport & Road - Gas-pressurised mototube with combined compression & rebound damping control - £347 inc. VAT
  • Track  & Road - Remote gas-pressurised reservoir with separate compression & rebound damping control - from £499 inc. VAT
  • Race & Road - Remote gas-pressurised reservoir with separate hi-/lo speed compression & rebound damping control - from £558 inc. VAT
  • Race Pro - 46mm "Big Piston", remote gas-pressurised reservoir with separate hi-/lo speed compression & rebound damping control - from £645 inc. VAT

Nitron Shocks are supplied by HPS, and unlike many off-the-shelf shocks, they are built to order based on the rider's weight, the specific use of the bike and whether passengers are ever carried.

More details on the Nitron Shocks, including availability, can be found on the HPS site.
