A flock of RC30s

Rare Honda VFR750Rs meet up for a chin wag

A cluster of original RC30s on display at the Intermot show in Germany.

The one in the middle had a square headlight, not the dual round ones we're used to. From a quick search, it appears that's what the Swiss got and frankly, they can keep it.  It looked exactly like an NSR250 MC21 headlight but because it was so small it was lost in the fairing. Amazing how a small change like that can affect a bike's looks. You can see what the square-headed RC30 looked like here.

Anyway, on with the rest of the show..

Replica of the racer. A similar one sold on eBay last year for £15k.

Swiss-owned RC30 races in the German SuperClassiX series.

Original VFR750R RC30, just how the factory intended it.

Marushin VFR RC30 - I don't know whether this one is the original race bike or just a replica. Either way, it's ultra cool.

The bulk of the article is about a headlight that's not pictured. Seeing as the style opinions of this site often vary greatly from my own it would have been nice to make my own mind up.

Apologies, I was in shock and forgot to take a photo. Have added a link to a pic in the story.

Thanks. I'm with you on this one, that is ugly.
