washing up liquid and cleaning?

tomorrow.I want to get all the wax and crap off in the meantime so I can check the bike over and then give it a proper clean at the weekend. Washing up liquids have Anionic Salts in it which dulls the paint.. DONT USE... quick trip up to halfords for some

I wash up every week, without fail, but in the meantime it gets full to overflowing. I would get the other half to pop round, but she lives too far away Apart from getting a bigger bowl or piling the dishes high - are there any other solutions
