anyone have any experience of imported bikes? Thinking of getting an imported yamaha R1 and just wondered how easy/difficult/costly it is to de-restrict an imported R1. I've seen some ads for imported R1's from The U.S. Are these actually restricted

for long. Your far too quick to take the piss. :smoke: The R6 was only restricted after I picked it up from a main Yamaha dealer for my licence, and was immedialetely taken out. And I rode a Kawasaki ZXR400 (full power) for about 10 months before that
