and it look stunning. Is it chuff...The BMW R1150GS is.You can do track days on it.Tour the world on it.Go offroad on it (well, a little bit - I did...ish).Doesn't have a mucky chain.Takes stacks of luggage.Yeah, so I sold mine...but it was rather good Gromit

much more "interesting" than my GS500. As someone has said, theres no point buying a nearly new R1150GS because they barely drop in value. I really fancy a R1150GS when I get the cash.I've never had the guts to ask for a test drive or pay

.Not sure what sort of distance this would be as yet, but figured it could be done in a fortnight. I'm on a Triumph TT600, the others are likely to be on more trailie-orientated bikes; likely an XT660R/F650GS for mate #1 and an R1150GS for the guy going

Boxer engines

When I had a BMW R80St many moons ago, I'm pretty sure it was a pushrod OHV lump. Are the modern ones OHC? My R80RT was leaky pushrods. My R1150GS is a single overhead cam wiv four valves per cylinder and a cherry on top. Hairy Ben wroteMy R80RT
