.Not sure what sort of distance this would be as yet, but figured it could be done in a fortnight. I'm on a Triumph TT600, the others are likely to be on more trailie-orientated bikes; likely an XT660R/F650GS for mate #1 and an R1150GS for the guy going

When I had a BMW R80St many moons ago, I'm pretty sure it was a pushrod OHV lump. Are the modern ones OHC? My R80RT was leaky pushrods. My R1150GS is a single overhead cam wiv four valves per cylinder and a cherry on top. Hairy Ben wroteMy R80RT
