bike will ride by looking at the spec sheets (which is exactly what I did on the flight to Athens, where the launch was) and frankly, I didn’t have high hopes for the Honda CBF1000 with its prudent approach (on paper at least) to motorcycling

or go for a blast. There are other bikes that could of done the job, Fazer1000, cbf1000, VFR800 are just some of the other bikes I looked at. At the end of the day It came down to price, four grand for a year old bandit with 7k on the clock, heated grips

1 can offer will be disappointed by the muted sub-6000rpm performance and limited ground clearance. There's also competition brewing in the form of Honda's CBF1000, so while Yamaha deserves to shift a fair few of these, it could well have a fight
