Yesterday, i was using a petrol station air pump to automatically sort my rear tyre out. It didn't seem to work. I wasn't sure if i'd simply failed to create a seal (damn chain enclosure doesn't let me in easily), or whether it was simply a naff

Spending my birthday at Brands

I was fortumate enough to celebrate my birthday by lapping the fantastic Brands Hatch circuit
I have always wanted to take my bike onto a track and am fully aware that it does not get to stretch its aging legs on its daily commutes in London. The only time I get to slide my wheels is on wet manhole covers so I was more than happy last week

The perfect bike for my short legs!

I've upgraded from the 125s and this is my beast for this year
After a winter of riding through snow, slush, ice and driving rain, I reckon I've done my apprenticeship on 125s. My Yamaha YZF-R125 was the perfect bike to carve my trade on; nippy enough for town, small enough to fit through a mousehole
