Could've been so much different if they hadn't restricted the engine to 100bhp. It was good enough for Steve Linsdell to lap the TT circuit (with a 750 engine in place of the 1000) at 118mph.It's a shame Yamaha never pursued the project further. I still quite fancy one. I must ad...

Mods on that blade my vote for the best bike ever would have to be the 1993 yamaha gts1000a with the shortlived omega chassis, single sided swing arm front suspension and a very tuneable YZF1000 5 valve per clyinder engine in it.not to mention all day

show was spectacular, if you ever get a chance to see him you wont be disappointed. Frame and front section looks like it could be from a yamaha GTS1000, Probably with an NC30 Swingarm grafted on. Funnily enough, I saw a GTS1000 in Dorset yesterday. GPZ

steered bike years ago called the GTS1000.I think Performance bikes got hold of one and replaced the front swingarm with a far lighter one and raced it at the Isle of man, dunno how well it came on though.Think it had the same engine as an Exup thou
