Was at the Ally Pally last weekend and got to play on a (stationary) 2006 R6, nice bike. The Akrapovic can looked good too. I asked one of the Yamaha blokes what the bhp at the backwheel was on the stock bike and he claimed it was 135bhp!!! And was utterly convinced it was. I can say this is bollocks, even a Ten Kate supersport 600 won't make that much. The MCN review last November claims bhp figures of 125 and 131 without and with ram air respectively, but again doesn't specifically say where this is measured at, i.e. crank or back wheel.Anyone know the true no bullshit backwheel bhp for the 2006 R6?
