ABBA stands are ace, i use one for my Busa... a top bit of kit....
ABBA stands are the business! Take a bit longer to use than a rear paddock stand, but are a lot easier to use on your own (don't have to balance the bike whilst trying to hook the rear bobbins). Also, you can buy different adapters (think they are around a fiver a set) to make the stand fit different bikes When I bought mine, the cheapest place I found was direct from ABBA (free delivery). :burnout:
Although I'm an experienced biker I'm yet to own a bike without a centrestand. Now I'm treating myself to a new '06 Blade so I've got to come to grips with paddock stands for maintenance.I've heard so many problems with traditional paddocks stands i.e. people throwing it on the floor. Not too keen on doing that myself so I was thinking of one of those abba stands.Generally I'm only wanting the stand for chain oiling, chain adjustment and general fcuking about. Are these stands ok, or are they a bit OTT for what I want??
GSMonkey wroteSounds like ABBA is the way to go then. When you say its a bit longer to use, is it just a 2min thing, or a 10min assembly??Thanks for the pics stragTakes me about a minute to assemble the stand and lift the bike. Very very easy. You can also get a front stand so both wheels are raised if you need.
