It was a van with small speed camera markings on it and a camera sticking out of the rear window ,went back on the night that I recieved the notice and parked right in front of it got out and started peering into the blacked out side windows then took a photo of it, was going to post it but my own pc went tits up

In July I was caught on camera speeding and recieved aletter asking me to name the rider of the bike which I admitted was me and sent off the form to the relivent office , since then I have heard nothing as it is getting on for two months I was wondering if there was a time limit on how long the police have to notify me of the penalty tha I will be getting, as I am currently on six points and was doing 63 in a 30 limit I am expecting a ban but I don't want to ring the cops up in case I have slipped through the net.anyone shed some light on this matter as it is stopping me getting another bike
