Indraneelan wroteAnyone know where there's a free online video of the pedrosa hayden crash? Only caught the race a few laps before Elias passed Edwards and took off after Rossi, an good place to come in at but obviously i'd like to see the beginning incident.BBC website has it from a couple of angles. HTHSeems to me, some people are defending Dani on the basis that he has never taken anybody out, but his riding style (this year) doesn't bear this out - he nearly always loses the bike at the front end. Donny springs to mind where he kept outbraking himself and running wide even when in the lead.As Vale said after his awesome battle with Loris at Sepang - Dani overtakes very aggressively by planting the bike down the inside and jumping on the brakes rather than a more planned gradual approach based on line and corner speed which allows the kind of balletic overtaking, sometimes 3 or 4 times a lap, that we saw from the old guard. IMO, watching Dani ride this season, this has been coming for a while.I wanted Rossi to win, but when Nicky went down like that my heart sunk. My heart goes out to the guy... it's no way to lose a championship. It's also a let down for the fans - what a race that would have been with the 2 Hondas mixing it up front!Let's hope for a Honda front row at Valencia and the nail biting finish the season deserves.Edited to add: one reason for his overtaking style could be the difference in momentum. I was reading that due to the weight difference between Dani and Nicky, he has 28% less kinetic energy to shed at the end of a 200mph straight! This, combined with his low aero footprint, would lead to tow/outbraking moves coming easier I suppose.
