You may not be aware but the UK are planning to stop the reciprocal health agreement with the IOM next April. This means that, currently, if you visit the IOM and have an accident or are taken ill their NHS will foot the bill. From next April this will cease. It works both ways of course. If an Islander visits the UK they will not be covered by our NHS.We will all be allowed emergency treatment,in IOM and in the UK, but if you are admitted to hospital - you have to pay! If you have to be flown back home following treatment, in an air ambulance - you pay! Taking out insurance is recommended but not everyone can get insurance. Existing medical conditions for example. With TT week in mind could as many people as possible to sign the petition to No.10 to try and get this revoked. http://petitions.num...ealthcareIOMUK/
