On Parkers guide - choose Reviews then Technical Data and select your car.You then get a pdf all about your selected car, including adjustments for mileage.

Parkers are definately well out. Better off using glass's guide as this is what most of the dealers use. Wouldn't ever part exchange personnally, if it's priced well it should sell quickly in the autotrader or on ebay.
How reliable are the Parkers price guides when it comes to selling a car?The reason I ask is that according to Parkers my car is currently valued as follows:Franchised Dealer £ 6660 Independent Dealer £ 6195 Private Good £ 5040 Private Poor £ 4160 Part Exchange £ 4715 Now I have just been offered £3000 absolute max for part ex, interesting I bought the car from an independant dealer last August for £5500 which also blows those prices out of the water. Now there is one factor that may be a fault here, and that is the fact that the car has 70k on it, and those prices are based around 30k - that being said I cant see the additional miles knocking nearly 2 grand off the part ex - might be wrong though. Anybody got a full Parkers account that can do valuations on mileage??Also while I am here I need to buy a new car, something that will ferry a family of 4 and associated shit around. 2 kids under 3, so it needs to have a ferry sized boot. The car I have now (Renault Laguna) is forcing me to considered invading an oil producing country, so I also need a car with decent MPG (maybe a diesel?).
