What's a Facebook when it's at home?
Loz
oh dear god.www.facebook.comthat wasn't difficult now was it?
what is the web address of Facebook? i have signed up about a 3 months ago and can't remember what the web page is.
I've never really used Facebook although I am registered. It seems to be growing in popularity pretty quickly over here now. Online-wise I only really use VD, Flickr and a tree-hugging spiritual forum.
blessmycg wroteI like facebook, bit like myspace but with fewer weirdos. Mostly students on there really. That's an oxymoron, surely? It's threads like these that make me glad I'm ITaphobic - it's all a bit too weird.
Oddly enough, on Monday I had an email from Facebook telling me "[Old Girlfriend You Had Big Argument With And Told Her Never To Talk To You Again] has added you as a friend on Facebook"So I signed up, added her as a friend, and asked her what was up, only to get absolutely no reply.Miserable f*cking whore, using me just to get a +1 friend and not even answering my email (hmm, wonder if I can graffiti her "wall" ..?)Not that I really care - I usually join these things thinking I'll make loads of friends and all I meet is wierdos, nerds and fruitloops.Bit like being on VD, really
Is anyone else finding that all of their friends are now registering on Facebook? I have maybe 3 friends a day registering/finding me on there and in many ways it's great as it puts you back in touch with lots of people who have disappeared; but in other ways it concerns me as the number of exs on there is growing, as our a number of potentials for the future - and the former can have quite a lot of influence over the latter, if they so desired...
It adds all people in your email contacts as friends, and sends them invites. Well, at your discretion, you can choose to be selective or just click "all".Plus, you don't get any notice when you get a message except on your profile page, so she may just not yet have noticed.I like facebook, bit like myspace but with fewer weirdos. Mostly students on there really.
Yeah I'm on facebook due to mates from uni being on it, I use flickr as well. Mucho fun can be had from adding an awful picture of a mate and tag it so it pops up on their profile page, for everyone to see Mostly lad's holiday photos are on it so far.I've never been into the likes of myspace though with your info/pics being so public. That and a mate's page on it looks gash like it was made with Frontpage.
After receiving annoying email invites from 'friends' on the above site, i've joined up...and damn it all, i'm addicted! Is anyone else sad/bored enough to have joined up? I hate all this Myspace crap, i also get shitty emails from Ringo (amanaged to stop them for now) but Facebook has a genuine appeal for some reason!Annoying thou, its distracting me from vital bike-hunting, and anything else I can do to avoid my dissertation...
