I aspire to be a true biker one day , still won't ride a cruiser though.

i'd ride and own a cruiser if i was paid to do it, like £100 a day would suffice.

How about a nice little cabin cruiser on the Norfolk broads and a blue blazer and one of those captains hats and maybe even a cravat....The possibilites are endless..Regards
What might tempt you to own & ride a cruiser?I'm going to resist the orthodoxy here and admit that I quite like the look of cruisers, although I'm not a huge fan of the riding experience. I owned a Virago 535 a while ago - lovely looking but handled like a shopping trolley.

I am led to believe that this is a grand way to meet nice navy boys? hey, I prefer the broads etc.A.
Those of you who are sports bike orientated - what might tempt you to switch to a cruiser, if anything?Or wouldn't you be seen dead on one? Why not - they can be good fun?Just interested
Road a huge Harley 2.5up from Melbourne to Adelaide and back, including taking in the great ocean road. Loved it. Absolutely perfect bike for the job, and i would consider one again. Possibly as a second bike, but in this country i really cannot justify owning a cruiser.
If your going for a huge cruiser, would you also get a trailer? I'd love to have the time for an American coast to coast on something like a goldwing ... but I don't see the point of one in the UK.
