Why not head down to brick lane on a sunday and pick up something infinitely more delightful. I was offered a beautiful Bianchi racer for 80 quid, but on account of my bad Karma ended up spilling out 10 times that on a new condor out of grays inn rd.Felt good. But then my equally new and legit mobile got reduced to it's component parts under the wheels of a coach the other day leading me to question the fortitude of honest relationships and the consequences of their moral viability.Indeed I decided to look at the whole system far more existentially, where the consequences of one persons acts are in fact, quite....inconsequential.Which got me to thinking.....that actually my phone was always destined to die a foul and sudden death and no amount of good will or good deeds would have changed it's eventual outcome. Can you imagine how much of a bastard that you could be under this new philosophy? But knowing that the impact of your behaviour does not impact the fate of your fellow man is amazingly liberating. Libertarian in fact!Because if he embraces the same philosophy, with the same spirit of non-participation in the moral strictures of our society in a consequence free environment, then surely we will all achieve a peace with ourselves and another notch on the road to enlightenment.Or alternatively we will all descend into a morass of debauchery, sin, lack or moral fibre and an early grave with a bunch of good looking grave robbers..Either way, what's to lose?
