I did my new 75 mile commute on the bike on monday. Not very fun. Needless to say i'm in the discovery todayI'll be biking it tomorrow and Friday though, can't afford 25mpg every day

Just commuted in to my nightshift. It was dry and bright. My visor was manky.I was toddling along when i thought it started raining, then i smelt something sweet I wiped my visor and it was clean. Turns out it was the picasso in fronts windscreen washIm easily pleased

How about an oversuit for when it really chucks it down?I have an old Frank Thomas one that keeps out monsoon like rain, I just slip it on over the leathers.Only use it for longer journeys as bizarrely my normal riding kit of Dainese jacket, HG trousers and sidi boots, and Joe Rocket race gloves ( yeh I know...they keep the water out really well!!) keeps me mostly dry in my 30-45 minute commute even in quite heavy rain.

If dry it is a lot of fun, even sometimes in the wet..Hopefully my gear will be dry before I head home - but I have a feeling it will be a little soggy still.Will try the Nikwax stuff when I get it. I have an all in one aqua suit, but used to wear it over leathers.. I have a feeling it will be just a little tight over the textile gear...
