What are Metzeler ME Z1 tyres like?

I am new to the whole biking thing, and when I bought my VOR it had Metzeler ME Z1 fitted 120 front 150 rear. Yesterday, I found that the rear was a bit twitchy...granted it was pretty cold and wet/icy. I have had no problem with the front at all
