We call them "Sleepers".
by Dirtybill
there were no stained trouser moments Guzzis on the right type of road can do this also. :burnout:I was going to add the FZ1 (Fazer) but I think it's reputation is no secret, so it really doesn't qualify. Fuck the sleepers Bill, get yourself a wide-awake R

Bikes restricted in lower gears
by 711
After doing some research on the 2006 FZ1 Fazer, it appears that Yamaha are restricting the power output of this bike in the lower gears. Same thing done by Suzuki to some of their bikes, apparently to pass noise regulations.Surely a lot of riders

by The Gimp
? Or is the handling, range and fueling down to things youve done to yours?I've now covered 6000 miles on my 06 FZ1 Fazer 1000 and I love it to bits ...However I've not ridden the old model so I can't compare the two, m00c0w has ridden mine and said that he found

Tyres
by DAL750
/SupersportsDunlop QualifierAny of them should do really. I use Pirelli Angel STs or Diablo Stradas on the FZ1 Fazer, but i'm not a fast rider so I don't require the extra grip and stickiness of the sporty compounds. Personally I wouldn't touch Metzeler or Maxxis with a barge

Sporty nekid/skimpy clothed bikes
by AdamA
regular customers! You need to really wind an FZ6 up too. Christ, they struggle when you throw caution to the wind and try and boogie down a back road. Fazer 1000 not as bad, in my opinion and not ridden an FZ1. Mr McIvor wroteI have visions of a Ducati

I want a bike like the one I have but new
by Couch Commando
. (unfortunately I was swayed by the shiney paint though)Why was it worse than the 9r? Usability? Closest I can think of is something like the new FZ1 fazer - half fairing, flat(ish) bars, decent grunt, handles, not too heavy...Otherwise, er, New BMW R1200S

Which one to choose???
by drlove
you got scaffolding boards from. How about a nice tuono. I'd go for the CBF1000 or Fazer 1000 (or FZ1), top machines by all accounts. The Bandits, ZRX and CB1300 are very old school - I think you'd be a bit disappointed in them, particularly buying
