Cleaning trainers and tents in washing machines

Odd question, but I fancy sticking some dirty converse boots in the washing machine - will this be ok?And a tent too. Low temperature of course but don't see why not.Bad idea? I assume you haven't put the tent up? That would be a bad idea, mate

Bloody belt snapped on my Servis washing machine Trouble was that it grabbed the nearby wiring and pulled it off the heater element and the thermostat I have bought a new belt and heater but now am stuck because I have no idea which wires go where

Washing machine probs anyone help?

Washing machine has packed up halfway thru a cycle.When the dial is turned to try and rinse the thing seems dead,in fact won't do anything.Carbon brushes have plenty of life in them,suspect it could be fecked motor any help appreciated. Ask Dodgy

Got my bike washed yesterday

My bike was in a shitty state has'nt been washed very well for quite some time. I am by nature a lazy git. So I took my bike to get it valeted, had the works best valet at £50.00.It looks the dogs now I could never get it that clean and am happy

cleaning/washing an air filter..

that some of the glues that hold the filter together are affected by petrol, seems fair enough to me.Anyway I fancy using the No Toil Filter oil stuff next which you can just bung the foam filter in the washing machine.Oh and don't just use engine oil to oil

a washing machine could be described as such).We got a Miele, basic model (still 600 quid though) and it's just such a quality piece of kit it's a joy to use. Quiet, neat and tough as old boots. Oh..and the price we paid was less than anywhere else
