Where did you all get yer skateboard wheels from? They seem to be about £30 or more on the net? I'm sure someone said £5 a pair?Anywhere in London, per chance?cheersDave There's a skate shop just 50 yards off Covent Garden - off one of the side

Skateboard wheel crash bobbins

it in for an XR650 when my year is up. Hence my plea, I've heard you all talk about using skateboard wheels as crash bobbins and I wondered exactly how you do it. I know most of it is pretty self explanatory with the threaded rod, nuts and skateboard wheels

can shatter, how do you tell them apart, I think they stopped making Bakelite skateboard wheels some time ago. I'v never heard of shattering skateboard wheels. If you can find a pukka skateboard place, they will sell different grades of wheel ranging

and rattling.The front on the left hand side the wheel is again padded out with a thick washer and on the right side I used the polyurethane (sp) washer that fits in the 'truck' of the skateboard. It is a perfect fit and look very neat. It pushes the wheel
