Does anybody have a list or website to hand that lists piston dimensions. I want ot see if anything will or can be made to cross ref. with the VOR piston. I have my old cracked one to measure but I would like to know for future use.Cheers guys. Shut

Rings or piston?

My bike needs new rings AGAIN. In 4000km it will also be due for a piston.So when its stripped for new rings should I replace the piston now or wait 4000km and replace it then. I agree with Tomcat always fit both if you can afford it, the ring

Ok so we got the barrel off the KX65 then the piston off the rod.Soooooo how on earth does one get the new piston back in, is there a secret to compressing those rings so it fits into the barrel? well u go out and buy a ring compresser..... or

sticky pistons

how do u free a sticky piston in ur front brake caliper coz i only got the one that sticks. and i gotta replace the pads anyway... knackered is not the word.also... is it ok to emery paper the wheel spindle ever so slightly to make it spin better

are both of them supposed to move at the same time or is one supposed to move slightly b4 the other one.i got some new brake pads and think the pistons are sticking... but im not sure coz they all move when u put the lever on... but they dont move

Can anyone tell me if .25 on a piston from a 89'/90' CR500 is the first oversize or what, cant remember cheers. Just asked a CR500 race engine builder mate..25 is the first oversize
