-Fizz, just be careful how you attach it so it won't foul yer back wheel.Hard luggage I think its the usual suspect, Givi is always good. just i was thinking of going to the isle of man, and id need something to carry all my stuff in =)so with 2 side bags

usually sit 5 ft in the air which does not help.otherwise if your luggage is mounted properly (like, a metal rack mounted straight to the frame) you can load quite a bit before the handling gets dodgy. Personally I carried bags of cement, multiple flats
