My mate has just bought a KTM990 , as far as i was aware the 10th digit on the chassis number was the year of the bike? The 10th + 11th are 8M.... the bike is an 09 on a 59 plate, just wondering if this is correct and i am being a bit too cautious

steering damper what other chassis set ups can help stop it being so slappy ? I can't drop the forks thro the yokes anymore so that option is out. Anyone wanna make me some more yokes with more offset ? Assuming more offset makes it more stable ? ? Couch

Just rang Jt's in Bridgend for a hornet part and they wouldn't search for a part on their computer for me till i supplied the chassis number of the bike... never had that before...has that become standard practise or are they just perculiar
