of my life doing advanced courses, refreshers and numerous courses for HGV's, PCV's, TPAC and VASCAR you tend to pick a bit up. I would go for advanced training NOW - it's the best 'biking' money I have ever spent. I also was a 'tentative' rider before

From insurance forms ive heard of two advanced riding training courses, (iam & rider star) these seem like they can only be a good thing? they teach you skills that may save your life one day and a few bob on the insurance.... or isnt life always

Observer, but needn't have worried. Even within the same IAM Group, Observers vary tremendously.I haven't used Brian, but have been out with a couple of the UK Advanced instructors ( www.advanced-motorcycle-training.co.uk/ ). Both were very good. UK
