In some respects, Yamaha's new BT1100 Bulldog could be quite an important bike. Not, because of what it is (which we'll get to later) but for what it isn't.
In Japan, big deal or otherwise. What, however, the Bulldog isn't, is what it appears to be - a Ducati Monster/Buell X1/Cagiva Raptor/Triumph Speed Triple kind of two-wheeled urban street warrior. The Bulldog's funky wrapping paper may give that impression
