First Ride: 2008 KTM 990R Super Duke
By Jon Urry on 27/05/2008 23:08:28
Urry's been to Hungary to track test KTM's super spec Super Duke.
it...We only rode the R on a racetrack, so can't say with any real certainty how it will perform on the road, but on track it is stunning. The slightly longer rear shock has the effect of raising the rear of the bike, sharpening the steering angle

Used Test: Aprilia RSV-R
By Bertie Simmonds on 10/04/2008 19:28:42
The original Ducati spoiler is more practical and arguably more exotic too. Plus the spec'd up 'R' version can be had on the used market for as little as £3,000. But beware, she has a few issues up her skirt.
on in 1999, but they got it right first time. The RSV-R appeared a year later. It was capable of giving anything a run for its money on a race track but it's comfy on the road and doesn't have any major reliability issues either. The 1,000cc RSV-R is the mid

First Ride: Moto Guzzi Griso
By Roland Brown on 20/09/2010 21:15:07
Better-looking than the concept bike that spawned it, Guzzi's bruiser is sportier than you'd think - so much so that our man nearly had a 'wardrobe malfunction'.

anyone you dare go head on with on the road; pure, laid-back, unashamed pose. The 1064cc 90-degree fuel-injected vee-twin motor is the heart of the Cali and it really is an impressive lump. The updated fuel-injection shows few signs of glitchiness at low

First Ride: 2008 Moto Guzzi Stelvio
By Colin Goodwin on 21/10/2008 16:16:19
Despite sounding like a Greek travel rep Guzzi could be tapping a gold mine with its new adventure bike
over the bike. The only let down is the cubby hole in the right-hand side of the fairing. It’s an extremely useful bin that’s ideal for keeping a wallet for motorway tolls when touring but unfortunately the lid is a bit flimsy and on one of the test
