Litre Beaters: 2003 1000cc test
By Niall Mackenzie & Jon Urry on 19/05/2003 11:29:51
When you absolutely, positively have to go as fast as possible from one point to another there is only one class to turn to. But when the siren goes off is the new GSX-R still the fastest way to get to a nuclear bunker?
of a bunker when he sees said missile coming. And in the 1000s class there is only one newcomer for 2003 - Suzuki's GSX-R1000. Honda's FireBlade, Yamaha's R1 and Kawasaki's ZX-9R remain unchanged, bar colour schemes while the Suzuki gets a new frame

Road Test: Ducati 999s vs. 1098s
By Niall Mackenzie, Jon Urry on 26/05/2008 15:34:01
The 999 didn't win so many hearts, but it won a lot of races. The 1098 has us weak at the knees but can it perform? Dukes go head-to-head in Spain.
you're changing up just after 10,000rpm.On the 999 this whole process is much less physical as everything happens at a slower pace, especially on corner exits. As always this affects top speed, which was confirmed as the best speed I saw on the 1098
